You should take it take to the Apple store or call the customer service since this is a hardware problem and not a software one.
Best of luck!

How do i unlock my iphone 5 if my screen isnt sliding

If "slide to unlock" won't work because a portion of the screen is unresponsive, try turning off rotation lock and turning the phone all the way around (so the home button is at top). Then see if you can slide to unlock.

You can also try to hard-reset your iPhone, by holding the home & power buttons for about 15 seconds.

Touchscreen not working

Hi,
Unfortunately it sounds like the digitiser has shorted.
They can be replaced but are costly.
Some screens and digitiser sets are sold on auction sites so may be the best way of DIY replacement.
I have done many iPhones in my time and they just need some time and patience
Hope this helps

The bottom part of my iphone touch screen doesnt work, i cannot use this part of the phone but everything else works? Any ideas on the problem or the fix?

You need to replace the digitiser of your phone which is the hardware which makes the touch screen work. This is attached to the glass of the touch screen and can be replaced in one. You can do this yourself using tutorial videos although I would recommend using a local iPhone repair shop as Apple will charge extortionate prices for this repair.

My iPhone screen no longer works, what should I do?

If the screen is still intact and you can see the lock screen then you require a new digitiser. If the lock screen cannot be seen (i.e a blank screen) you will need to replace the entire LCD screen and digitiser. This can be done as DIY though I recommend leaving it for a local repair store. This will give you a better result and won't cost the earth.

I replaced the screen on my cracked iPhone 3G. The phone turned on and worked fine, but the home button was unresponsive. So i took the screen/LCD out to check the connections. The phone turned back on and...

put it on DFU mode. then, try to restore it using iTunes.

I believe that you have a problem w/the home button. maybe it's pressed all the time, so the phone cannot boot.

try dismatling the screen again, and check the home button contacts.

if you think the contacts are not ok, try to replace the home button.

if yo thinks there's no problem with the home buttons, try to enter to DFU mode:

1. turn off and connect the iphone to the USB.
2. press and hold power button for 5 sec
3. press and hold power and home button for 10 sec
4. leave the home button pressed until the computer recognize the iphone as a DFU device.
5. restore with iTunes.

Cheers,
Gery

Touchscreen does not work

Ok, remove the battery for 5 minute to reset the internal programming. once the 5 minutes are up, re insert the battery and power up. if the screen is still unresponsive, you will need to contact your manufacture for a repair ticket. the internal software that is used for collaborating the touch screen has failed.

Iphone Screen not lighting up

If you are using a case, the iPhone 3G and original iPhone cases are not compatible, so it may be covering the proximity sensor. If you have a case or something else on the phone, try taking it off. When the proximity sensor detects something covering it, the screen will go off to help preserve battery life (such as when the phone is up to your face) however if a case is covering it, it will assume that it still needs to be off.
