I have the same problem on a syncmaster 203...

I have the same problem, I purchased a samsung syncmaster 2033 and connected to my sony vaio vgn-fz17g and it has a flicker specially in some colorrs rgbs, I tried to modify the hertz and resolutions and the problems persists. I tried the monitor in anothr rcomputer and it works perfect

I called the manufacter and they told me to check the hertz and resolutions and I did it , but didn't work.
