Hi, It's almost certainly your thermostat not closing, and letting coolant flow round the system while it is still cold. It should close until the motor warms up and then open when cooling is required. Depending on your motor, a new one won't be very expensive and is a simple job to replace.

Belling XOU69MF Tripping breaker after on for 30-40 mins after steam cleaning

That's why you use easy off. LOL
If you have run it twice then any moisture should be gone, besides if it was moisture it should trip quick, sounds like a bad element causing the trip. I have never seen a breaker go bad, but they can.

I have a KF9000E used to cool a network rack. The unit worked fine last summer. As the weather warmed up this year I turned it on and it keeps tripping the electrical breaker. Anyone have any idea as to...

Run it on fans only and see if it runs. If it does, suspect the compressor. It may be something simple like wetness in the electrics. One component appears to have a short circuit or earth fault. If you can isolate them in turn and switch on until it no longer trips you will know which one is faulty.

My dryer will do one load but then it will not work for about an hour

Hi and welcome to FixYa I am Kelly. This sure seems to sound like either the motor bypass switch or the motor thermal overload switch is preventing use until the unit cools off. I would lean more toward the motor overload switch at this point. The next time it happens place a fan blowing at the unit to cool it off and see if the 1 hour PAUSE / Not working time is substantially reduced. If it is reduced I would suspect poor aiflow and or bearings. Bearings because if they are dragging can cause the motor to heat up during use. With the motor running it may beable to get rid of just enough heat to keep running until the unit shuts off at which point the heat is already at the tripping point and the thermal overload opens from no airflow through the motor.

Here is the repair manual: http://www.fowlercompanies.com/servicemanuals%5CMDG16SERVICE.PDF
The schematic is on page 90.
I would also perform the drive motor check PAGE 37 while it was HOT, Just note the dangers of working on live circuits.
I doubt the start switch is causeing your problem but.... the mocroprocessor control board on page 17 can also cause this.

Lastly... I would open the unit and inpect for any loose wires or hot terminals to include the power connection terminal block.

You can find your parts here but will need the last 3 digits of your model number in addition to the MDE16CS*** add digits where you see * http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/modelsearch.aspx?model=MDE16CS

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Kelly

Trips

The switch could be bad. Make sure there are no clogs anywhere that could be causing it to overheat. Try to bypass the switch and run it just long enough to see if you can go longer than the normal 5 min. you're getting. If you can then replace the trip switch. Do not continue to use the machine without the trip switch operating properly or it could catch on fire.

New Goodman condenser unit run almost contiously using too much e

I'm not sure of the kilowatts. The 10 min on and 5 off is telling me there is to much heat by the thermostat or you house needs more insulation. The new compressor is designed for more efficient run time. The other thing is the unit to big for your house? It should run 10 -15 min when low humidity is in the house. Otherwise longer if its pretty warm inside.

Dusty smoking smell, stops working, trips out power in house.

you forgot to say if it is a 3 phase machine
if it is 3 phase then a phase in the unit is overheating and that will stop the machine then blow the breaker as all phases have to draw equal current
if it is a single phase then the start/ run capacitor or centrifugal start run points are not breaking at speed and so the start windings are overheating and causing the breaker to trip
Take it to an electrical motor rewind shop and have it properly tested with test equipment

Washer agitates for a time then sputters. Does not spin

In sounds to me like you have a motor issue. We have found that on these particuliar models, that the motor tries to run in both speeds at the same time. If you already replaced the control board, then you will have to get a new motor kit. This kit includes directions as well as a new wiring harness and start capacitor. You would have to remove the old motor and rewire the wiring harness (instructions included with the kit) and add the new start capacitor (instructions also included). Job is'nt really that hard to do. Front cover would be all you would need to remove to get to all the parts. Good luck and let me know how it turns out or if you need any additional help. Jim

Dryer stopped drying.

Electric dryers are equipped with a thermal fuse or thermal cut-out. They are usually located near the heating element next to the thermostat, and typically blow when there is an overheat condition (usually caused by poor air flow attributed to clogged ducting and/or lint build-up in the dryer). The thermal fuse (or cut-out) is a one-shot type of fuse. Once it blows it is non-resettable and must be replaced. In some model dryers when the fuse trips it will only disable the heating element and the dryer drum will still rotate. However, in some dryers when the fuse trips it will also disable the drive motor. I hope this helps.
