There is no sync. They simply need to have the same frequency listed on their sitickers.

SOURCE: Shure T2 SM58 intermittent transmit

Two screws on the back of the battery casing, then prise out the battery tray (it's a detachable moulded tray in the mic body) using a small screwdriver in the slot near the power button. Under the threads of the battery cover is screw which holds in the PCB, unscrew this. Take the full mic head off (not just the ball, but an inch further down with the capsule in it), and remove the circlip inside. The PCB then slides out towards the head end of the mic.

SOURCE: hi i have this system

The LX series was discontinued by Shure several years ago. They no longer have any new transmitters that would work with your receiver. You could look for a used transmitter, but it would need to be on the exact same frequency as your receiver. That will not be easy to find.

Your best bet is to sontact Shure. They are always very helpful. Ask for the service department. These parts are readily available and are not expensive. Once you gain access to the internal board, changing the parts is trivial. I have ordered numerous sets of these in the past and keep some in stock as they fatigue after a while.

Check to make certain the mic and the receiver are on the same frequency range. The frequency range will be provided on a sticker on the mic and the receiver.

Unfortunately, there are no new receivers available that can be used. You'll have to try to find a used Shure receiver on that exact frequency.

Wireless microphone receiver ready light or audio indicator nogo

It is definitely a Sync issue.

1) Make certain the microphone is ON and the light on it is green.
2) Remove the battery cover from the microphone.
3) point the **** end of the microphone (where it says Sync) toward the Sync button the receiver (about 6-8 inches away).
4) Press the Sync button on the receiver. You should notice the light on the microphone flash.

If this still does not work, call Shure Applications at 847-600-8440.
