Unplug it and with a flat head driver prise open the lid a the the top between the flex and the top cover

I hope you kept the user manual which came with the hand blender. The hand blender is probably still under warranty.

If you do have the manual, look for the information about the warranty, so the Braun company can provide you with a replacement or cover the cost of authorized repair.

My Braun MR5500BC Multiquick professional handblender is now not working but I still do have all the accessories still intact. Is it possible to buy the motor part of the blender only?

I have a Braun Vario Model 418 hand processor - motor works fine but when attached to the blender, the blender shaft vibrates - if you look into the inside of the blender, the shaft is shaking - may be some support is missing. Can any one advise what can be done.

After 10 years the blade on the mr 550 ca hand blender needs to be replaced as it is chipped and not able to be sharpened by me. Can I purchase a replacement part.
