Question about Dreamcatcher Wildlife Zoo jc
I installed wildlife zoo (Not sure what edition, it just says "Wildlife zoo" but it is from 2006) on an older computer on windows xp several years ago, but now I want to install it on my laptop that has windows 8. It installs fine, but when I open the game a box labelled WLP2.exe pops up saying "One of the library files needed to run the program cannot be found api-ms-win-core-l1-pll" What is the problem?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: I have windows 7 have
I had the exact same problem. I had to locate the actual program with Program Files and change the Compatibility of the program. If you are running 32-bit it will be located in "Program Files\DreamCather\War Leaders Clash of Nations"
In 64-bit it will be "Program Files (x86)\DreamCather\War Leaders Clash of Nations"
The file is called "War Leaders - Clash of Nations" and you will want to right-click it. Then click Properties and then click the C"Compatibility" Tab at the top of the window. Then adjust it to what I have shown below. Be careful as you can not alt-tab out of the program or switch windows in any way while playing, it will put it back to the black screen and you will have to force close the game.
Hope this helps you too. Have fun gaming!
