When using the touch screen, I can only select the lowest part of the screen. Moving the stylus left to right or vice versa, will work but it doesn't acknowledges the vertical (up or down) movement of the stylus. Calibrating the touch screen won't work because it says that it is way out of the target area. what in the problem? Could it be other than the LCD screen? hope to check and confirm that i don't need to waste more than PHP1,000 because the LCD is good.
Re: The touch screen only selects lower part of the
If there is slight displacement of touchscreen issue, say for eg. if u r selecting a point and then the cursor appears at some other point, it can be solved by trial and error method by screen callibrating from setup wizard. If the issue is maximum, say for eg. if u r selecting a point and then the cursor appears at a different place, of not selected or does not appear, then it is best to change the touch screen, which is abouve the lcd. remember not to change the whole panel, as it is costlier. In your case I feel u need to change the touch panel as I said and not the whole lcd. Ofcourse, this should be handled by proffessionals only. Hope this would solve your problem :-)
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The CT-90326 remote was included with several Toshiba televisions, including the 42HL800A. You can't directly scan for channels with a single button on the remote. First make sure that the TV is set to the TV input. (Use the Input button on the remote (top left) or the TV (lowest button on the left side as you face the screen).) Next press Menu (the second lowest button on the TV or the button at the lower left of the Left arrow button). Use the Left or Right arrows to select Setup (with the gear icon) and press OK. Use the Up/Down arrows to select Auto-Tuning and press OK. Use the Up/Down arrows to reach the line to select the type of channels to search for a signal. Then use the Left/Right arrows to select Digital channels, Analog channels or both. Go down another line to set the bandwidth of your broadcasts. Again use the Left/Right arrows to select the correct one. Go down one more line to Start Scan and press OK.
Goto Menu then Profiles you see a red dot on General. Press options on lower left of screen and Edit. scroll down to Flip Beep and click it then scroll to Silence and press Select on lower left of screen. It worked for me.
3. Windows:Right-click the printer icon on you taskbar (in the lower right corner of

Do you mean that you can't select a stitch except by touching below that stitch instead of on it? If yes, then you need to re-calibrate your screen. It's easy! You should use your stylus for this, but if you have lost it use the blunt end of a machine needle instead.
Go into your SET menu, hit More twice - or until you see "Color Touch Screen Adjust" (it might depend on what version machine software you have loaded just which screen it is on). Click on this. (Keep touching below and around the button until you get it to respond.) Touch in the CENTER of cross 1 (upper left corner of screen). When the cross changes from black to green, the point is set. Do the same with cross 2 (lower right). Done!
Just be sure to touch ONLY THE CROSSES on that screen, except for OK when you are done.
To determine if there is an issue with the touch screen, you need to follow these steps:- * Turn on the unit and select any user. * Select 'Option' from the keypad. * Then select 'Configuration'. * Scroll down to select 'Diagnostics”. * Scroll down again and select 'Touch Screen Test”. If you can complete the 'Touch Screen Test ', it implies that there is no issue with the touch screen. The most effective way to use the touch screen is to select using the tip of the finger or with a blunt end of a pen or a stylus. However, if you cannot complete the touch screen test, it would imply that there is a problem with the touch screen.
Assuming that the laptop is hooked up to the projection TV using the correct cables or connectors and still no video display on the TV, perhaps you need to lower down the laptops screen resolution first using your laptop's screen display before pressing the Fn + F? key.
To lower the screen resolution, right click on any clear area of your desktop, select Properties. click on the Settings tab, move cursor of Screen resolution to farthest left, Apply, Color Quality to lowest, Apply. Additionally, click on the Advanced button, Monitor tab, select lowest Screen refresh rate.
Hope that this be of some help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
