My motorola is showing `` no service and emergency... (by 10 users)

my motorola is showing me `` no service `` and `` ememrgency calls only `` every time that I light up my phone , whats wrong ! ,,I can`t even make a call and had to buy a new phone ( sometimes these ebay buys can be a real scam ) !
I have the same problem.

I have gone to a AT&T store to see if there is an software upgrade to correct the problem. My brother has the same carrier but he is able to my calls when I am getting no service. Please help.

had the same problem my sim card was not fitting the phone properly had to bend it a bit to fit.

I'm having the same problem. I've had the phone for a year and a half with no probs. Now all of a sudden it's "emergency only" or "no service" messages all the time. Do I need a new SIM card, or is something wrong with the phone?
