check if you're getting power to the red and the yellow, it may be that you are only getting a permanent live but no switched live and if so you will need join the red and yellow on the radio side together using the connectors on the loom so you will have one permanent live leading into two (red and yellow) wires into the radio. clear as mud, good luck

Hi there JT,
An Amp makes existing sound louder. If you aren't getting sound now, there's a problem.
From your description, it sounds like your stereo is going through all the motions, it looks and acts like it is functioning. Just no sound.
If that is wrong, let me know.
When you turn it on, do you hear anything from the speakers? White noise, a click, anything, any indication that they are hooked to any kind of power supply?
Let's do the basics (easiest) first:
Still nothing? OK.
That's enough for now. I'd hate to write a book and have you solve the thing in chapter one. Get back to me with the answers and results. Those results will decide the next course of action (Unless of course it's fixed by then, in which case let me know with a nice FixYa rating).
Mike

Make sure that the source is set to "Standby" when trying to access the menu. It took me about an hour to figure it out and afterward I felt like a ******.
