How do I show the embroidery pattern from the flashdrive on my ellure plus?

I have save patterns to a flashdrive. When I plug the flashdrive in to my ellure plus, the pattern name shows on the screen but not the pattern. It tells me to pick a pattern but I don't know how.

Sounds like you have .dst files on your flashdrive. That is not the native language of this machine. If you convert files to .PES files then you will see the image

SOURCE: I have a fairly new Baby Lock Ellure Plus and when

Hi Lisa, I have the same machine. When I had that problem I was told that the design I was trying to do was to large for the machine. Basically it needs to be about a 5" x 7" design. When I put a smaller design in the machine was able to read it. Hope this helps! I'm still learning too.

SOURCE: Placing a space between words on the lcd screen.

Go to the end of the alphabet and use the underscore.

This will leave a space and not actually stitch the underscore.

Baby Lock Esante . I know I can connect directly to computer for downloading embroidery patterns. Is there any way to use an adapater to connect to machine serial port to read a usb flash drive

I cannot find a way to do that in the manual but you could download the flash drive to the computer, and then from computer to your memory on the machine.

On my Ellure BLR3 I can only use the flash drive and I wish it was like yours. The pattern is hard to see to choose if you have more than one pattern on the flash drive.

How do I change the stitch width and length from mm to inches on an Ellure. I've changed the overall settings to inch, but the individual stitches are still showing up in metric.

The inches to mm display is only changed in emb. mode. The stitches will still be shown in millimeters. It is the nature of machines manufactured in todays world.

How to transfer embroidery patterns to Brother sewing/embroidery machine

Machine designs first designator is the file name. Your machine shows the file number for the design you want. You do still need to "select" that design number shown to actually begin teh file transfer from a thumb drive or cable direct from your computer if your machine has that feature.

Why won't my baby lock ellure plus read my USB stick....I copied a pattern from the internet ...it seems to have read the pattern but when I put it in the sewing machine it comes up P1/P1

You downloaded a toyota dst file. The babylock will embroider the design but it wont display the design or any picture or attributes. It will sew it, but try on scrap fabric first to be sure.

Hi! I am planning to buy a babylock machine. iread about, but I still don,t know what to buy between Sofia 2 and Ellure Plus.

Looking at the babylock.com website the Ellure Plus has more stitches although they are both machine embroidery machines. The Ellure Plus has a larger embroidery field than the Sofia though so this may well clinch it, 4" x 4" versus 5" x 7", I know I would go for the larger embroidery field so I didn't need to reset the hoop.

I guess though it comes down to price and will you use all the extra features of the Ellure Plus. If you are mainly doing clothing and home dec then you really don't need the embroidery features at all, its a personal preference though.

Have you been in for a demonstration and used both machines yourself? Sometimes the little things will crystilise the decision for you. Look at ease of threading up, lighting in the sewing area, size of the free arm and how easy it is to program and set up the embroidery functions. Then decide if the extra cost is worth it, sometimes its better to spend more now and not outgrow the machine's functions, but you know what your sewing needs are so its something you have to weigh up.
