Question about Bosch Classixx WFL 2066 Front Load Washer

Element Needs changing Bosch WFO2466

My washing machine tripped the fuses this morning. On further investigation I think the element has gone as the machine will carry out any programmes not requiring heat, ie drain, spin, rinse.
Does anyone know where I can get internal digrams from to see if the element can be changed without removing the drum?

Thanks in advance

Changed the element in my bosch washing machine and still trips the electric ,can i wash on a cold wash without tripping the electric.

In the washing machine your hot water supply comes from your water heater. The element that is tripping is part of your electrical so no you cannot expect a different result. You will have to fix the problem first before you wash.

Machine keeps tripping out when starting wash cycle - electrics have been checked by electrician - no problems- have managed to get it to spin but not to wash

Hi

The washing machine is obviously drawing too much current for the breaker to handle. This could be due to the washing machine drawing more that it should or because the breaker cannot handle the current the machine needs, coupled with the other machines on the ring main. If the fuse on the plug of the washing machine does not blow, then it could be that there are too many appliances on the ring main. The fuse on the machine may not blow however, if the breaker has a faster blow time than the fuse in the plug. Try plugging the washing machine into another ring main. Or try plugging out all the other appliances on the same ring main and test it out.

If the ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) is tripping only when the washing machine is running then something in the machine is faulty.

One common problem is the heating element. Over time they tend to crack and when the water gets in, the ELCB will trip out. This can be problematic to diagnose as offten the element will only trip after a period of heating. Bottom line, if it is tripping the ELCB then it is dangerous and should be fixed before any further use.

Washing machine starts but trips mains MCB, kitchen is on it's own ring main. Replaced fuse and reset MCB but tripped again, I'm thinking electronic fault, board maybe?

Sounds like short or Electrical leakage,,locate and disconnect the heating element then try this goes faulty now and then....Machine should then run /spin fill ...if so fit new heater

The likely cause of this is a failed heater element which would cause the fuse to blow. You will need to get the heater element checked out and replaced if necessary. A visual inspection of the element may reveal the problem jf not an electrical test will be necessary. Be sure to switch off the power before touching the heater element.

its either the motor or element gone, remove the back of the machine and remove the wires from each component mentioned. try the element first , MAKE SURE U TAPE UP THE REMOVED WIRES BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE BACK ON , U WILL GET A SHOCK IF U DONT!!!. if it does not trip , then the element is gone. like wise do the same to the motor. just one more item to check is where the mains cable enters the inside of the machine. good luck
