Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Goodluck!

I have a Kingston 2.GB Data Traveler filled with data, and no instructions on how to open it to read it. Please tell me how to open. Thank you.

Your USB drive should show up under My computer. Double click on my computer and look for an icon that says something like mass storage device. The drive should be E: or above. If you double click on that icon, everything saved to the drive should show up just like any other harddrive. You can drag items to or from this drive.

My 2 gb usb kingston can't open files. not formatted

Sound like it is infected with virus. Find a computer with a good Anti Virus and Malware Program. Go to My Computer and right click the USB drive and select the Anti Virus program that shows on the list.

When scan is completed, right click the USB drive in My Computer and select Properties then select Tool and then click the Check Now tab.
Next check the two brackets and click start.

Should be good as new after.

Regards

When i insert 2 GB USB it detect but when i click to open its not

you shouldn't have to click on it. some how someone messed up the programing part. should automatically start the menu. go to firefox on your browser, they got an update, firefox 3, download to your stick. that should do it, worked for me.
