Contact your vendor or the brand to replace it, usually a new screen costs between $25 and $40 unless it's covered by warranty or insurance

MY TOSHIBA LCD TV SCREEN IS CRACKED DOES IT HAVE A

Hi Erika,

If your LCD is cracked, you will need to unfortunately replace the entire LCD. Simply putting a screen protector (which is just a thin film) will not stop the crack from getting worse. There is unfortunately no magical way to fix your screen other than simply replacing the LCD panel itself, which is totally doable. Many electronics repair shops can fix your TV pretty easily. In some cases, you can even mail it into Toshiba.

be careful of Samsung's, they are notorious for LCD panel tab failures. Do your homework first !!! There are plenty of reviews that backup my suggestion.

Crack screen

Thank you for writing in regard to your concern about the crack scree on your phone. Let me help you with this.
First, I want to know the severity of the crack and if the crack is just outside the housing or casing, or is it on the LCD scree of your phone?
If the crack is on the LCD of your phone, then, the best thing that you can do is to bring the phone to the nearest service centre to replace the LCD. Cracked LCD can no longer be fixed because it is a hardware problem already.
Hope I was able to resolve your concern.

The screen looks cracked and multi colored but the actual glass isnt broken or cracked

Your LCD/monitor is cracked from the inside. There are several things that can cause a screen to crack from the inside. The two most common are pressure on the screen or dropping the machine. Sorry, but it is irreparable. You need to buy a replacement.

LG 42" tv LCD pannels inside tv have a cracked

The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.

KDL46W4100 no picture small white crack is visible when turned on. Crack got longer and eventually went across entire screen. People have told me the lcd is broken and it's not worth fixing - ie the part...

Yes, thats correct.
If lcd tv screen got hit by some thing then lcd panel got cracked and does show distorted lines or cracks instead of picture and lcd panel have to be replaced that would cost you 70% to 80% of new tv price.
New TV is better option.

Cracked lcd

No..... it is not possible to repair a cracked lcd....
Let me explain why....
The LCD panel is more than 1 layer... the sides and top/bottom have contact strips that the pixel grid connects to it is not just a piece of glass that magically shows an image.. also.. it is connected to a circuit board which wraps over the top and sits on the backside of the backlight...this Ribbon tape that connects the lcd panel to the circuit board is integrated into the Lcd panel itself... and has magnetic tape and contacts integrated into it as well... these cannot simply be ripped off or removed and switched...
Nor can you simply put a patch kit on the LCD to fix the crack.... Once it cracks, it will slowly grow in size and spread....
You can however change the front glare sheets and polarized sheets that overlay/underlay the lcd panel .. this is done to remove scratches and blemishes and such....
