Reset HP 7110

usually setting your computer to a date before the expiration date of the cartridge. If your printer has a date function try this first on your printer.

did you take the plastic strip off the contacts on the cartridges, if you did then go into settings or menu and reallign cartridges. let me know Steve, also check your settings when you go to print in color settings....thx steve

the printheads which are below the ink catridges might be bad. I would repalce them.

I'm not sure you specified the correct printer. The 7110 printhead is not pentagonal. Is your printer the 7110 all-in-one?

it might be a hardware issue with the printer however we still can try the following stes to reset the printer.

1
Take out the cartridges from the unit .
2
Make sure the unit is connected to the wall jack directly without any surge protector.
3
Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit ( without turning off the unit ) .
4
Now press the # and 6 key together , while holding these keys down plug in the power cord back into the unit .
5
Do not release the keys after a few seconds u will find te hp logo or bars moving across the screen .wait while the unit turns off.

after one minute turn on the prnter . it will go into alligment phase > let it finish .

after its done > try to make a copy

Please be more precise about what on the screen, on control panel, some led blinking etc.
