Grill troubleshooting

I'll take a shot in the dark that your problem is with how you turn on the gas.
Try this: Turn off the burners and the gas. Wait a minute or two.. Turn on the gas about 1/8th turn. Wait half a minute. Turn on and light the burners.
Hopefully this solves your problem.

Purchased a grillpro 3 (three burners plus side burner) from orchard. They installed but side burner will ignite. Igniter is working and I hear gas when I turn the burner knob. Fire the igniter and it will...

You're getting gas to the burners, just not enough to ignite the burners.

To solve this problem, first be sure you have adequate gas in the tank. If that checks out OK, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank.

I hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

The gas burner needs to be scrubed to open the holes again. The transfer bar that lights the outside burners needs to be cleaned also. Make sure the tank is not cold and there is plenty of gas. Make sure the valve is all the way open on the tank. Its not a regulator problem if one of the burner lights and the others don't. Usually if you barbacue a lot the sauce drips down an creats crud on the burners. Just use a wire brush on the burners. You may have to take them out to scrub them good.

Grillpro model # 236464 owner's manual

Don't buy GrillPro grills they are junk!!!!!! I have had a GrillPro Model #236464 Stainless Steel Grill and after Three Seasons it has rusted to peices!!!! All Three burners and all Three Flavor Guards and both Channel Cross lites have rusted to a big pile of rust peices. I called GrillPro which is Manufacturered by Onward Manufacturing Company Limited in Canada and all of these pieces have been on back order for over a month and the company says they don't expect the parts anytime soon. Onward Manufactures the following brands:Broil King, Broil-mate, Sterling, Barbecue Genius and GrillPro. I have looked at several of these brands at Menards and they all use the same type of Burners and Flavor Guards that are in my grill so unless you want a big pile of Rust after three years of use I would avoid all of these Brands!!!!!! Forget the problems Take it back where bought and buy something else!! These brands will let you down! Al Gavin - 515-238-3920
