if fan inside oven starts but no heat, then the probability is that the element is open circuit and needs replacing

SOURCE: creda oven

you might have already thought of this, buy an oven thermometer you can pop in the oven.
I bought one from my local cook shop
I have a the same cooker and similar problem - mine gets hotter by 50 degrees so I set the temperature 50 degrees lower than needed.
I noticed the problem a few years a go and luckily hasn't got any worse.

SOURCE: Main fan oven in Creda C130E won't heat.

If you remove the inner rear panl of oven compartment, you will see the element.
If you can see removeable screws, then you can change the element from inside without the need to remove from housing.
If screws cannot be removed from inside, then you will have to remove the oven from housing.
Please leave feedback for my suggested solution.
Thankyou.

You need to replace the fan oven element located at the rear of the oven compartment behind removeable cover.

Most likely it is a blown heat element, you could check it if you have a multimeter or continuity tester.

Neff oven not heating have replaced fan element

it has to be the temperature control itself...thats the only other component, aside from the high-heat cut out switch which rarely goes bad.

CREDA BUILT IN DOUBLE OVEN MIRROR FRONTS 2002 MAIN OVEN FRONT FAILED AT METAL TO GLASS HINGES IS THERE HEAT RESISTANT ADHESIVE OR WILL ARALDITE 150 C SERVE ?

Araldite will not do the job sati8sfactorily, as it it will not remain flexible as the oven gets hotter.
Go to the E-Bay site and look for high temp silicone adhesive for oven glass doors.
It is about£5.00 + p/p.
It is perfect the repair you need to do, I have used it myself, and recommend it.

Hi.i have a hotpoint creda c362e cooker the rings work grill works but main oven and top oven elements dont come on even when lights come on when switched on fan works but no heat could you help me on this...

Hi.
Frpm the sympton's you list, I would say that the main oven element has failed, espsecially if the fan is working o/k.
The element is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
In addition to the grill elements in the top oven compartment, there is an additional base element which you can't see.
If you turn the top oven on, the base of the compartment should get hot, if it does not, then the base element has probably failed.
Hope this helps.

Grill faulty on my double oven

Creda reflection double oven had the same issue, both ovens work but the grill was either hot or cold, no temp control. I changed the thermostat first, due to being a novice and not fully understanding how things worked. it didn't help so I have changed the grill regulator,( bit that the knob fits onto) and it has solved the issue. I expect this to be the same with most top oven and grill combinations with the oven working but the grill only being hot or off.
