GE GSD2200G02WW problem

The telescoping center of the "arm" broke off. (water pressure pushes the center up...not sure how else to describe it) Located part but need schematic / picture. Any ideas on where to find? Not on GE website.

Also, is it very hard to replace rotating arm?

Thanks.

You have to replace the whole assembly, the telescoping tower and the spinning blade are called the lower spray arm assembly. Its an easy fix cost about 25 bucks. I hope this helps.

9-14-14 How do I increase dishwasher pump drain pressure?

Wow, you've really tried hard to fix this problem (and describe what you've tried to do to fix it). But for me to be able to fix it, I need to know the model number, and approximately how old the dishwasher is. Does this model use a separate drain motor, or does it have just one motor and a diverter powered by a solenoid to drain the water?

Lower arm of dishwasher will not turn

Does it spin freely when pushed with your hand? These things are powered by the water pressure of your pump, so maybe the water path to the arm is blocked.

Washer arm blocked

Hi Jeff, W/D here.

Spray arm blockage is caused by particles of debris plugging the spray nozzles and/or the directional slots. They are easily cleaned out.
If you can, remove the arm and take it to the sink. Back-wash the nozzles and slots towards the center hole, flipping the arm over occasionally to pour the debris out. You can push the debris backwards back up into the arm with a toothpick, and continue to wash as described. This will usually correct the problem.
Best regards, --W/D--

The water is not getting to the top wands

you need to replace the water conduit that runs from the base pump area up the back wall to the center and top wash arms, the "water horn" that feeds the center arm when the drawer is pushed in gets leak by and this in turn lowers water pressure to the center and top wash arms, replace the whole conduit as its not that expensive, and while doing this clean out and blockages from food in the spray arm holes too

I have the same groaning noise with my dish washer GSD2200G02WW

Hi,
Remove both spray arms, and try a cycle with the washer empty.
If the noise changes or dissapears - replace one spray arm and try again. Replace the spray arm that creates the noise.

If there is no change, then replace the drain pump.

The soap isn't fully disolving and the dishes on the top rack are looking like they haven't been touched.

Make sure your water temp is 140 degrees
make sure to use only FINISH Tablets
make sure the telescoping arm in the center of the dishwasher lifts fully and drops under it's own weight
make sure the wash arm on the bottom of the tub spins freely.

The last two holes (the ones wich give the spin to the arm) are blocked. Remove the arm and try to unblock with a thootpick and by running water into the arm.

Good luck
