SOURCE: HP 4250 DTN will not print multiple copies

if this is ran through a network which i would think most likely due to the machine then you will need to change the number of copies to be printed on the control panel on the fron of your machine as well as that will have the final say over what comes out of it.

i think it should be as follows:
press the green tick, press down, green tick on print quality.

i may be worng on where its located as not used one for a while.

if i am wrong on it the go into the information menu and print out a menu map. this will show you which sub-directory its in.

Hope this helps.

Pete

SOURCE: HP 3055 printing black lines when using collate feature to copy

All you need to do is to clean the small wide glass (that at the LEFT of the main flat big class). The Auto Document Feeder (ADF) specifically uses this glass to scan for copy (and fax). When it is dirty (such as small dirt or particles on the surface which is easy to gain in long run), it will create thin vertical line(s) as the result.

SOURCE: My hp 1320 prints multiple copies instead of one copy

Go to "printers and faxes."
Right click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
Select "Advanced" tab
Double click "paper output"
If "Copy count=2" then change to 1 and apply
IF IT ALREADY IS SET TO 1 THEN:
Set "copy count=2" then APPLY
Repeat the above and now set "copy count=1"

The process of setting and resetting the copy count fixed my issues.

Can only do if you have a document feeder. Put in originals and pick the offset mode for x amount.

How can i print multiple copies of the same document with 3 pages and have the printer staple the copies in the correct groups?

In the print driver you should have the option to collate, you need to make sure that that option is on, and when you go to send the print job, you need to make sure that you adjust the finishing options in the driver to tell it to staple.

Why do multiple copies sometimes staple together as one set instead of multiple sets?

I don't know how/why, but if you set the Print settings (main print screen) to non-collate and the Printer Properties (clicking in to get to the staple option) to collate, it works correctly, stapling each set individually.

under print settings make you have "collate" option checked. There are different ways to find this depending on which operating system you are using.

Look for a small "Collate" box and make sure it is checked. That way it will print each set in order.

I am running Microsoft Word 2003 and have an HP 1320n printer. My problem is that when I print more than 1 copy the pages do not collate even if the collate box is ticked in the print dialogue book and so...

HP 1320 print driver is a universal print driver covering several printer models.  Collating only works on HP printers if you have a multiple exit tray system for commercial based laser printers similar to finishers on a copier.  They have to have room to keep the copier together before they can be collated.  On a standard configured 1320 there lacks any space for finishing tasks.

KONICA MINOLTA C450 VXL Printer - When stapling multiple copies it staples all the copies together rather than each one separately as required. I use vista operating system.

There is an issue with the Konica Print Driver and the MS Print Driver. If Collate is turned on in both the drivers, you will get this problem.

The solution is to turn off Collate on one of the Drivers. Usually you will have an initial Print Dialog window that pops up when you can select your printer, how many copies and if to collate or not. De-select Collate. Then you should also see Preferences Tab. If you select that tab, select Collate and Staple, your print jobs should now Collate and Staple correctly.
