If I know how much the payment is and the length of the loan how can I calculate the percentage I am paying?

A=P((1-(1+r)^(-n))/r, where A is the present value of the annuity, or the amount of the loan, P is the periodic payment, r is the interest rate per period, and n is the number of periods. In this case, I assume the payments are monthly, so n would be 36. You mentioned that you already have A and P. However, solving for r algebraically is not that easy because it is in two places on the right hand side. However, you can make a table and put in interest rates to make both sides equal. Remember to multiply this answer by 12 to get the annual interest rate.

For example, if the payment is $100, and the amount of the loan is $2,766.07, and the number of periods is 36, what is the interest rate.

r Calculate Actual Difference
0.010 3010.75 2766.07 -244.68
0.011 2959.42 2766.07 -193.35
0.012 2909.33 2766.07 -143.26
0.013 2860.42 2766.07 -94.35
0.014 2812.68 2766.07 -46.61
0.015 2766.07 2766.07 0.00
0.016 2720.55 2766.07 45.52
0.017 2676.11 2766.07 89.96

You can see from the chart that the value of r of 0.015 makes the difference 0, so the periodic interest rate is 0.015 or 1.5%. We need to annualize this by multiplying by 12 and we get an annual interest rate of 18%.

Good luck,

How do i use the percentage function?

If you want to find 25% of 500
500 X 25 [2ndF] % will display 125.

If you want to know what % a number is of another number like for instance...
What percentage is 120 of 400?
120 [DIV] 400 [2ndF] % will display 30.

If you want to increase a number by some percentage like
Increase 500 by 25%
500 + 25 [2ndF] % will display 625.

If you want to decrease a number by a percentage like
Decrease 400 by 30%
400 - 30 [2ndF] % will Display 280.

NOTE [2ndF] is the 2ndF button. Do not enter the brackets [ and ].
NOTE [DIV] is the divide button. The text editor would not let me enter the divide symbol

The oven overheated and now a PF is on the face

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire range, model# GLHS269ZDB, overheated, and is now showing a "PF" code displayed on the control panel. The "PF" code means that there was a power failure. You can clear that by pressing any button. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Find missing number in this progression: 15 26 34 51 ? 84 96 125

The missing number is 61.
Look at perfect squares: (1,4,9),16, 25, 36, 49,64, 81,100,121
Then look at the given progression 15, 26, 34, 51, x, 84, 96,125
Take differences from the closest -1,+1, -2, +2, -3, +3, -4, +4

(15 is 1 less than 16 = 4 squared,
26 is 1 more than 25 = 5 squared,
34 is 2 less than 36 = 6 squared,
51 is 2 more than 49 = 7 squared,
61 is 3 less than 64 = 8 squared,
84 is 3 more than 81 = 9 squared,
96 is 4 less than 100 = 10 squared,
125 is 4 more than 121 = 11 squared)

What should be the percentage of the battery when its fully charged on an aprilia 125 rs

If the system is 12 volt, which I think it is, a new battery should read 13+ volts fully charged. Note! You can have 12 volts, but low amps. You need to ideally charge the battery and put a load tester on it to know the truth about the condition of the battery. Chaz Moto DC
