It is very simple all you need is.
Imports Microsoft.Win32

Dim reg As RegistryKey = Registry.LocalMachine.CreateSubKey("Software\MyApp\", RegistryKeyPermissionCheck.ReadWriteSubTree)
Dim regKey As RegistryKey = Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("Software\MyApp\", True)

Private Sub SetBtn_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles SetBtn.Click
regKey.SetValue("KeyName", "Path")
End Sub

Private Sub GetBtn_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles GetBtn.Click
Dim Path As String
Path = regKey.GetValue("KeyName")
End Sub

Hi,
For that error do a complete uninstall of Yahoo Messenger. Then reboot and fresh download. Please read full instructions below.
--------------------------------------...
COMPLETE UNINSTALL OF YAHOO MESSENGER
Please note that doing a clean uninstall of Yahoo Messenger will erase your message archives so read here about how to copy them http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...

First uninstall Yahoo! Messenger through add/remove programs.

If you want to do a total clean uninstall of Yahoo Messenger then also navigate to Program Files on your hard drive and delete the Messenger folder inside of the Yahoo Folder. Follow this path (XP): My Computer>>C: drive>>Program Files>>Yahoo>>Messenger. Reboot your computer (important!).

If you have a trusted registry scanner use it now. If you do not have a trusted registry scanner that you are familiar with than skip this step because you can mess things up if you do not know what you are doing. I personally use CCleaner but then I have been using it for years and know how to use the Registry scanner portion safely. Using any of these types of programs is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Make sure you know how to create a system restore point and backup any of the Registry files it changes.

It is important that now you reboot your computer. Now download and install Yahoo messenger again using the following link: Full Installer for Yahoo Messenger latest version.

How to install a trial version of software again when its 30 day trial time...

PROCESS TO INSTALL A EXPIRED SOFTWARE AGAIN.

Sometimes it happens that by chance we get some software which are not very popular but excellent in their utility in that case we are not able to get the serial key or crack of that software. Then we have to use the trial versions with no any other option.

Note:-
1 This tip works only for that software which asks for path or provide opportunity to install software in any other place then program files in c drive during time of installation of software
2 Careless registry editing can cause irreversible damage. Thus, performing backups of the registry before editing it is highlyrecommended by Microsoft

STEPS TO PERFORM THE OPERATION

1 UNINSTALL THE SOFTWARE WHICH HAS TO BE INSTALLED AGAIN.

2 TRY TO INSTALL THAT SOFTWARE AGAIN BUT CHANGE THE PATH FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE.IT WILL BE BETTER TO USE SOME OTHER DRIVE ALTERNATELY.

IF IT DOES NOT WORK THEN

USE THE REGISTRY EDITOR OF WINDOWS OR TUNE UP UTILITY SOFTWARE ( http://www.tune-up.com )

3 FOR OPENING WINDOWS REGISTRY EDITOR TYPE REGEDIT.EXE IN RUN (FOR XP USERS)
VISTA AND WINDOWS 7 USERS CAN GET IT BY TYPING IN SEARCH REGEDIT ONLY

4 OPEN THE TREE BY DOUBLE CLICKING THE HKEY_CURRENT_USER (HKCU) FOLDER PRESENT IN THE LEFT SIDE AND UNDER THAT AGAIN DOUBLE CLICK FOLDER NAME SOFTWARE . LOCATE THE FOLDER OF THE SOFTWARE WHOSE TIME HAS BEEN EXPIRED (IT MUST BE PRESENT THERE WITH THE NAME OF THE SOWTWARE OR BY ITS VENDOR NAME) AND DELETE THE WHOLE FOLDER FROM THERE.

5 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKLM) REPEAT THE STEP 5 IN THIS FOLDER TOO.

6 CLOSE THE REGISTRY EDITOR AFTER DOING STEP 4 AND 5.

7 SERACH FOR THE FOLDER WITH THE NAME OF THE SOFTWARE OR BY THE VENDOR NAME IN APPDATA AND PROGRAM FILES ALSO

8 IT MUST BE IN THE C:Users<USER NAME>AppData, AND C:Program Files
LOCATE AND DELETE THE FOLDER FROM HERE ALSO, IF IT IS PRESENT.

9 NOW INSTALL THE SOFTWARE AGAIN AND CHANGE THE PATH FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE .

10 NOW YOU ARE READY TO USE THE EXPIRED SOFTWARE AGAIN.

Tip

An error message informs you that you cannot move or rename the Documents and...

To specify a different folder for the Documents and Settings folder during installation, follow these steps: 1. Run Winnt.exe or Winnt32.exe by using the /unattend option, and then insert the following entry into the Unattend.txt file, where z:\foldername is the path and folder name you want: [GuiUNattended]
ProfilesDir = z:\foldername 2. Install Windows. The path that you included in the Unattend.txt file is used instead of the default Documents and Settings folder.NOTE: This method does not relocate any key Windows components. Use this method if you require only user-specific data to be moved.

After you install Windows XP, to specify a folder other than the Documents and Settings folder for a particular user's data, follow these steps: 1. Identify the user's profile path. You can identify the profile path either by user security ID (SID) or by user path settings. The user SID method is preferred. To identify the user's profile path by the user SID loadTOCNode(3, 'moreinformation'); a. Use the Getsid tool from the Windows Server Resource Kit to obtain the SID. At a command prompt, use the following syntax: getsid \\ComputerName UserName \\ComputerName UserNameFor example: getsid \\windowsxp joedoe \\windowsxp joedoeThe results look something like this: = The SID for account WINDOWSXP\joedoe is S-1-5-21-1708537768-1993962763-1957994488-1003 b. After you obtain the user SID, start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe), and then select the user SID under the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList To identify the profile path by the user's path settings loadTOCNode(3, 'moreinformation'); a. Log on to the computer as the user, and then type set at a command prompt. Note the setting for UserProfile, and then quit the command prompt. b. Log on to the computer as an administrator. c. Use Registry Editor to add the UserProfile setting to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList d. Click the registry key, and then click Find on the Edit menu. e. In the Find box, type the value of the UserProfile setting, and then click Find Next. 2. In the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList registry key, change the ProfileImagePath value to reflect the new path that you want to use, and then quit Registry Editor. 3. Log on to the computer as the user, type set at a command prompt, and then verify that the path has changed.
Moving the entire folder loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); NOTE: This method does relocate key Windows components. Use this method only if you require the Documents and Settings folder to be moved or renamed and you cannot use the Unattend.txt file to change the name during installation.

To specify a different folder for the entire Documents and Settings folder, including key system components, follow these steps: 1. Log on to the computer as an administrator, and then create a new folder. 2. In the current Documents and Settings folder, on the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab. 3. Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click to clear the Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check boxes. 4. Click OK. 5. Click and drag all the folders in the Documents and Settings folder to copy them to the new folder, except for the folder for the currently logged-on administrator. 6. Log off and then log back on, using a different administrator account from the one that you just logged off from. 7. Open the Documents and Settings folder again, and then copy the profile of the administrator that you just logged off from to the new folder. This extra step is needed because you cannot copy the profile of the account that is currently logged on. 8. Log off the computer, and then again log on to the computer as an administrator. 9. Start Registry Editor, and then click Find on the Edit menu. 10. Type documents and settings, and then click Find Next. 11. For every registry key or value that contains the original path, replace the value data or rename the value or registry key to the new path.IMPORTANT: You must complete this change in the registry for every instance of the original path, or your computer may not start. It is imperative that you update all registry keys and values with the new path.

12. Restart the computer. You can now safely remove the original Documents and Settings folder.

We have three login accounts with ub funkeys. Mine is the only one that will save progress. How do I fix it?

First time I hear from that problem. Please check this path.

c:\program files\u.b. funkeys\radica game\data

you should see a folder named System (dont touch it) and 1 folder for each account you have created, inside the folder there is always a file named profile.rdf, if the file doesn't exists delete the folder and create a new one (in the game).
If the file exists maybe it's corrupt (sorry) delete the folder of the not working account and create it again (from the game enviroment).
If this still not working, copy your working account to some other place in your PC. Remove the software(uninstall), reinstall it a, update your software using the patch001.exe file int he official site and copy again your saved files (with your previosly saved games) in the right place. Hope I can help you.

When I open computer a message displayed cannot find regsvr.exe

Hi there.
You have a virus on the PC!!

What the regsvr.exe virus does?
• This worm creates folders and a registry entry to enable its automatic execution at every system startup.
• This worm also creates a scheduled task to enable its automatic execution at a specified date and/or time.
• It also creates Autorun.inf file for its auto execution.
Solution to fix the problem:
1. If the task manager and registry editor is disabled then we need to enable them first. Read this post.
2. Delete the Autorun.inf file created by the virus. First go to cmd (start menu, run or search, type “attrib X:Autorun.inf –s –r –h” without quotes where X is your drive name which is having the problem. Now the file is visible and ready to delete. After deleting the file, close the explorer and open it again
3. Now type msconfig in the Run dialog and click on startup tab.
4. Look for regsvr and uncheck any options, click OK.
5. Now traverse to control panel -> scheduled tasks, and delete the At1 task that might be listed there.
6. Type regedit in the Run dialog to open the registry editor.
7. Click on Edit -> Find and search for regsvr.exe
8. Just delete all the occurrences of regsvr.exe virus (do not confuse it with regsvr32.exe which is not a virus).
9. Navigate to entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon and modify the entry Shell = “Explorer.exe regsvr.exe” to delete the regsvr.exe from it.
shell_regsvr.jpg10. Now to actually delete the virus from the system go to system32 folder and delete the regsvr.exe virus file from there (you will need to uncheck the option of “Hide Protected System Files and Folders” in Folder Options to view the virus file).
Reboot the system for changes to take place.
If this is too much for you to understand please post back for an alternative.

Good luck

Can't get itunes to work

The error message “The folder iTunes cannot be found or created”. It was referring to the My Music directory that is usually located in the My Documents folder on the partition containing the operating system. The iTunes software creates an iTunes folder in the My Music directory on first start and if that directory is not accessible it will throw the error message and fail to load.
Since this error is related to the My Music folder it is important to check the directory path of that folder in the Windows Registry. This is best done by using the shortcut [Windows R], typing [regedit] and hitting the [enter] key.
The fastest way of location the two locations that contain path information for the My Music folder is to use the search by pressing [F3] and entering [My Music] in the search box. A click on [Find Next] will start the search and reveal the two locations.
The test computer system did not have path information listed at all. This can be changed by double-clicking the My Music key in the Registry and changing the path to an valid path manually.
The two Registry locations that list the My Music path are the following two:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Make sure both point to a valid path on the system. Once the path has been changed iTunes will create the iTunes folder in that location and start up without this error message.

Please back up your registry before doing this. messing in the registry can make your computer stop functioning.

Make sure you follow the correct registry entry.

HP Deskjet F2200 All-in-One SCAN green light flashes but does not scan

Error: “HP Cue Scanning Flow component has encountered a problem and needs to be closed”.

The problem is caused by HP software not installing the file path to the scanner correctly in XP, so if you run a registry cleaner such as RegCure it will delete the file path.

OS: Windows XP.

If you encounter this error message please follow the steps below:

1. Go to registry by clicking on Start/Run then typing in regedit and hitting enter.

2. Go to HKEY_ Local_ Machine\Software\Hewlett-Packard\DigitalImaging\

3. Click on the Digital Imaging Folder and in the Right Hand Side Pane and check if the String Value “ProfileWritePath” is present and Value is set to %APPDATA%\HP\Digital Imaging\Data\Destination

4. If the Sting Value is not present right click and then click on new and then click on String Value Name it as “ProfileWritePath” and then right click on that and click on Modify and make sure that the value is set to “%APPDATA%\HP\Digital Imaging\Data\Destination” and close the registry editor.

5. Then go to My computer C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\HP\Digital Imaging\Data and check if the Destination folder is present. If not create a new folder and name it as “Destination”.

6. If you are unable to locate the Application Data folder under All users, click on Tools and then click on Folder Option. In the Folder Options Window click on the View tab and under Hidden Files and Folders make sure that “Show Hidden Files and Folders” is checked and then click on Apply and then click on OK..

7. Then Make sure that the same that the HP\Digital Imaging\Data\Destination folder is present under all user profiles Application Data folder.

8. Run Regcure and after the scan check the file/path errors and tell it to ignore the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\digitalImaging ProfileWritePath= C:\Documents and Settings\ (whatever your file path to the destination folder is)

Now it should run flwalessly even after you run regcure.

For other registry cleaners I'm sorry but you will have to find out how to tell your cleaner not to delete the erroneous file/path error.
