SOURCE: Xerox phaser 7760 streaking

to fined out what the problem could be you need to open a word doc and sent a blank page to the printer. from this it will show where the problem is in the printer
if u still get streaking it couls be a faulty toner and it may not be the cyan toner either. i would give the fuser unit in the printer a check. if there marks on tthis unit i can cause this problem as well

SOURCE: i have blocked the fuser uit

All you have to do is open the fuser unit on the end (2 Screws) and you will find a fuse which has 3 strips (in a plastic casing with wires attached). You must the solder the strips so that they are joined, and that should reset the fuser.

Try printing the full status sheet. If you print out all the setting it should cover all the information you need to make your judgement.
Good luck.

Xerox phaser 7760 saying "non-phaser imaging unit"

There is a snippet on the Xerox website to solve imaging unit recognition problems, link below. http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-7760/downloads/engb.html?operatingSystem=winxp&fileLanguage=en_GB Usually this problem only occurs if the NVRAM has been reset or the engine board has been replaced without backing up the NVRAM. You can download the snippet to your printer through Centreware or by downloading the 'File Downloader' utility from the same page above.
Hope this helps.

Hello i hope someone can help me with my problem i need reset the fuser uit xerox phaser 7760,because the rollers both(up,low) are like new condition thank you

You can get more life out of the fuser by removing one end and placing a piece of tin foil OVER the THREE FUSES, which are designed to blow at set times. Just tape it in place with some tape.
Good Luck
