The motherboard is: ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 and i have instald all the drivers you can download from de orginal asus website.
Enter the bios menu. Press the Delete key every two seconds during boot up. Open the Advanced menu. See page 2-24 in your user manual. Make sure: Onboard PCIEX 10/100Mb LAN is set to [Enabled]
Check the lights for proper operation. See page 1-23 in manual.
ACT/LINK is not flashing than the MB LAN controller is bad.
Your MB is warranted for three years. Call Asus tech.

Find the sticker on your parallel port. (Only seen from within your case). Write down all information to paper. You will need this info when talking to tech. If board is faulty make sure you receive a case number before you hang up.
