Go to program 608 and turn the feature on for each extension you want to have the capability. Then, from each phone dial 7300# and 7331# on the intercom. The phones will probably give a double beep because those are the default states for Data Line security and Executive override allow.

For a CO line you just press the red button. For an extension, dial 2 into the busy tone.

Since that's done from SYSTEM program 000, it seems likely that you 1. Aren't using extension 101 and 2. Didn't log into the system for programming

Try it again.

3. You find the drivers for the MC for your operating system. Our Pana dealer website has them, so I'd contact Panasonic for a solution.

2. The system needs programming. System programs 407-409 controls incoming ringing.

1. Did you install a 82493 CID card and programming?

CAN WE GET CORDLESS PHONE FOR KX 7730X-B SYSTEM OR KX TE5 824

You can, but why? A generic cordless works fine for a lot less money. You need to know codes like 40, 9, 58x, etc.

The Panasonic blessed cordless phone set for the TA/TES is the 7896. http://www.tele-movers.com/kxt7896.htm

At $300+ you can buy 15 or more inexpensive cordless phones and learn the SLT codes.

We have Panasonic TES 824. We connected 3-direct lines, one of them is for fax. However if I call the fax number, it goes to auto attendant. How to disconnect the fax number from auto attendant? Awaiting...

By programming. If the Auto Attendant is the DISA card, you can tell it to listen for the FAX tone and transfer it to the fax extension, or, you can program the 3rd number to ring only the fax extension and no others. Both require programming in the system cabinet.

Hi i need to add an callder id card to my existing tes 824 system. after i add the card physically to the 824. is there any programming changes required. If yes please explain

As a minimum, you have to turn it on in tab 9 or program 900 and 913. There are also some other programs to deliver CID to extensions.

Hi, I've just added and expansion card in my panasonic tes 824. but the problem is although the additional extensions are working. no additional CO lines are being detected. when i go to the CO line...

No. At the very minimum, you need to go to program 400 (3.3 in the U.S. Maintenance Console) and turn on the lines. Access may have to be enabled from each extension for both outward and ringing programming might have to be added.
