well what kind of timing adjustment you need sir, it will be helpful if you be more clear as to what you want to knw,am wondering why you want to do that, but if you want to do a distributor adjustment you should have yourself a timing light, then you mark the damper pulley with a white paint so you can make sure you have it on point

Having problem setting distributor on timing

Hello Jc..the timing on the vortec engine is computer controlled. This is called static timing, & is done when the gears are installed. A timing light will not help on this. You can adjust the camshaft sensor, but a scanner needs to be connected to monitor the adjustments. I hope this helps.

He time on my motorola shows 16:10. How do I correct The Time please?

Most Motorola phones have a feature of "auto-adjustment" for correcting time. If this feature is enabled then your phone will not show the option to set the time manually. In order to correct the time manually you need to disable the "auto adjustment" feature. After disabling this manual adjustment settings will automatically come.
Hope this will help....cheers:)

Carburator adjustments

Unfortunately, the two screws are not the problem. In fact, they very rarely require adjustment. Only when the engine is old and worn.
The problem is the timing, that is in need of adjustment.
You need to try and find the old screw settings, (if you can).
To adjust the timing, you can either adjust the gap, between the magneto, and the contact, or, the gap on the plug.
Good luck with that,
btw, don't forget to rate:)

Rear brakes need ajustment on Buick Lesabre

I don't know if this works on a Buick but I have had two cars that the auto adjusters worked when you used the parking brake, I rarely use the parking brake so I got in the habit of working the parking brake 20 times or so at oil change time.

Adjusting date and time

According to Canon, the backup memory lithium battery (interal) recharges off the main AA batts that you put in... the manual says it takes about 4 hours to charge this battery.
When not in use, leave the AA batts in the camera .. see if this helps keep the date/time memory!
