Hi there, i had the same problem with my g6000. the problem is caused by the video chip overheating. only fix is by getting video chip repaired(technician required) or replace motherboard(approx £100). hp are aware of the overheating chip and in us have extended warranty to 2 years to cover this problem. hope this helps you
