Creative MuVo V100, How do you delete the library folders?

I have a Creative MuVo V100 and do not want to use the library functions. How do you delete them or just be able to keep files in the root directory?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: muvo v100 no music

I've had the same issues with my MuVo V100. I've formatted it,re-installed firmware and used Creative's MP3 Recovery Tool, too.

The only way to get the player recognising " music/ folders" and playing them is to use the 'sync' option in Windows Media Player 11.
Although this is a very long process, it has worked for me. Having said this,it does take a while to find them in the actual player. As the menu appears different??

This is going to be the last time I buy a Creative product.

Transfer of Music

Load it up on your computer, and move the files to the "Library A" folder. I'm assuming you mean the library on your MP3 player, if not, it's easy enough to load it up on your computer (by attaching it to a usb port) and copying the mp3 files onto your computer, in any folder of your choosing.

Download audio book

I bought a MuVo V100 specifically because a sister uses it very successfully for audio books. I'm still learning because it doesn't seem easy to do, but she managed fine. So don't assume it won't work for books.

The icons are confusing to deal with but the book will be in the "folders." When you find Library A, you push the button thing IN. Then you scroll sideways until your title comes up.

I've done it myself but kind of accidentally. Can't do it twice the same way!
