How do i open door on washer/dryer? - Tecnik TKL9290 Front Load Washer / Dryer

when you open washer door you hit a stopper pin that holds the door open. there are 2 screws located around that area on both sides of panel. remove them and you'll see vent hook up and water line hook up and power cord. Now at the backside of washer door panel there are two screws remove them and pull washer door panel towards you. under the door panel connected to panel is where you will find door switch. if you jump out door switch and it works then you need new door switch.

Can the doors of front loading washers and dryers be reversed?

The technician informed that we cannot reverse the door on the washer.

On these model you can only reverse the door swing on the dryer but not the washer.
Alternatively, you can switch places with the washer and dryer provided the washer fill and drain hoses are long enough and there is enough room without obstructing the dryer exhaust vent .

sorry but the washer can not be changed. its strike has a lock and can not be reversed. the dryer can be changed, but the best thing to do is move the units and get some longer hoses for the washer.
hopefully you can switch the position of the units, but if not then you will be doing the laundry dance every time you do wash.

Turn the dryer dial to off, making sure you can hear it click off, wait 1 min, and then try door. If it will still not open then you may have faulty door lock, or a prob with the door handle.

nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing.
the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.

Try the valves inside the back where the water hoses connect to the machine they should default to the closed position when water is not required

washer door can't be reversed on matching dryer best bet buy longer hoses for washer and longer vent and cord for dryer and reverse their locations

First Read your owners manual and see if the doors are reversible. They may or may not be?

at one installation we did the washer was not reversible so we put the dryer where the washer was and the washer where the dryer was, customer was very Happy and was Happy to pay $$$
