When you press the button to select the right cycle the time comes up, you press start you can hear the door click to lock but then nothing happens!! either the code F12 comes or it says 'door' even though...

Dear claughrin

The problem in Fault code F12 can be EEPROM on the main module PCB which is malfunctioning.

A new EEPROM installation is possible and will be a cheap repair.

Alternativaly you have dump on the PCB boards and you have to blow dry the cards in order to remove the dump. (This requires opening the washing machine)

Please be careful, take off any plugs, Electricity is dangerous!

Disabled scooter with curtis 1228 has 'EEPROM fault'

This is a tough call. I think what you're seeing with the 'EEPROM fault' is a loss of the program that was stored there. It is my opinion that the program for the ubit will have to reinstalled to the EEPROM., or buy a new EEPROM.

Dell latitude d820 can't get intothe bios set up screen

The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory which is attached to the motherboard. If you remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost. You will need to re-enter the correct CMOS setup information to use the machine.

Hope you find this information usefull.
your feedback is appreciated.
