Hi Vic! This is a rather simple. Grip the stick portion of the cleaner with one hand and the nozzle with other. Then pull apart. The nozzle is assembled on the stick portion by friction.

Make sure its unplugged, flip it onto its front on some paper or cloth. Look at the base moulding and note several small screws hidden down in recesses. Get a Torx or Phillips driver as required and remove them to release the base moulding. Find the damaged roller drive belt, replace and reassemble in reverse order. Take care to ensure the roller and base cover are correctly located otherwise the roller will jamb. If it fluffy inside, take this opportunity to clean it out.

To change the belt on a Hoover Flair Stick Vacuum, remove all 6 screws from the bottom of the beater bar. There are 2 screws hidden under wheels. You must pop the wheels off with a screw driver to remove the hidden screws. The cogged belt is on the left side of the beater bar. Be careful not to pull the wires.

the unit must be clogged open it and clean out the filter hope this helps

take the dirt canister out and it just drops into that and sits flush. then reinstall the canister

Pop out the two little rollers underneath, at the front. you will find two little screws holding it on. Unfortunately, I found after I broke it off!
