if your model has a mute/test button, please press this for 3 or 4 seconds to stop the beep. The beep usually indicates an approaching power shutdown of the device and allows you to save any files that are currently in use prior to this shutdown.

Battery is very easy to remove. Take it out and test it. If you dont have a meter to test it take it to an interstate battery store they will test it for you. They sell new ones should you need to purchace one.

You most likely need a new battery. Remove the battery and test it. If you dont have the ability to test it take it to an interstate battery store, or any similar battery store and ask them to test it for you.

Sounds like it may have a bad power transistor, it will cost more to fix than replace. What is the story behind the question, last time it was used? Who borrowed it? It may have been overloaded ... $40-$70 should get you a new one.

this unit come with 4 with battery backup of 12v 7ah. check what are the indicator display shown?
