SOURCE: How do I change the oil in a Mountfield Emperor

the drain plug is located under the mower. above the blades. just look for a freeze plug that you can fit a 3/8" ratchet into. Remove the plug, wait for the oil to drain, then replace the freeze plug. You might have to get a water hose and wash the under carriage out and get all the grass off before you'll be able to see it.

Exactly below the engine near rear Tyre, to see this you have to bend the scooty fully. there is a small nut we can operate it with a spanner, that is for gear oil drain. at the center portion there is a big aluminium nut of about two inch diameter which can only be operated by key , that is for engine oil drain further detail you can contact me by kiransh999@gmail.com

Where is the oil drain plug on a 2002 BMW 325i

It is located on the oil pan, please be advised the oil pan is also the casting that houses the front differential, and the engine oil drain is the hex nut furthest to the rear of of the pan . You will need a 17mm wrench to remove the hex nut . After you drain the oil, DO NOT over tighten the plug . The proper torque is 25 newton/meters or about 20 foot/pounds

How do you change the oil in a mountfield LS45 Lawnmower???

While I am not familiar with this brand, typically, in a four cycle lawn mower engine, there will be a oil drain plug in the bottom of the engine or on the lower part of the engine above the deck.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

I have a Mountfield HP474 lawnmower. We cannot locate the sump plug to drain the oil. Please could you advise. Many Thanks Gavin

According to the operators manual there is no sump plug, instead you "dump" the oil out using the oil fill.

Below is step by step instructions copied from the Operators manual:

Drain oil while the engine is warm being careful not to touch the hot engine nor drained oil

a) Place engine level
b) Clean around oil fill
c) Remove filler cap
d) Have a container ready to collect the oil
e) Tip the lawnmower on its left side so that the oil will drain from the oil fill
f) Place the lawnmower level and top up with new oil
g) Check the oil level on the dipstick
Oil should be at "MAX" mark
h) Close the filler cap and wipe off any spilled oil

NOTE: The oil capacity is about 0.6 liter

Where is the oil filter located?

The engine oil filter is located just right of center if standing in front of the car. By removing the LARGE Black cap with the 36mm nut you will expose the filter element, make sure to do this before draining the oil from the drain plug in the pan. Otherwise the filter will still hold oil until loosened a bit. A typical oil change should go like this.
1. Engine Hot, not running, Loosen filter housing, don't remove yet.
2. Drain Oil, Replace plug.
3. Remove and Replace filter and O-Rings
4. Add oil.

How do l change oil and filter on focus estate 2000.

Well, you'll want to get under your car and locate the oil pan. It should look something like a metal box and you'll find it in the middle of the engine area. There will be a nut, probably 9/16th size, so you';ll need a wrench or socket. When this becomes loose enough, use your fingers to twist it off. Be warned! Once this nut is off oil will immediatly become rushing out. You'll probably want to have a bucket or something to catch the oil. Once the oil has drained, tighten the nut back onto the oilpan. The oil filter shouldn't be far from the oilpan, probably a little bit upwards, you'll should be able to see it from where you drained your oil, but you can also sometimes spot it when leaning over your engine. Be sure to wet the lip of your new oil filter with clean/new oil before replacing it!
