I cannot figure out how to use roku i plugged it into the back of my tv and it is connected to the remote.

You need to connect it to your wireless router. You can get the information from the setup page on the Roku. You have to log onto the Roku web page and enter the device serial number before you get any picture on your TV.

Just hooked up the streaming stick to HDMI to the TV. nothing is showing up, What do I do now?

Sounds like you have a bad connection on either your roku stick or your HDMI PORT.Does you ROKU stick show a white light if not check power cable or electrical plug.
Try wiggling ROKU stick just a hair or push it in and out until you get a signal..A purple screen with the words ROKU should show up on TV.If you have a bad port on TV it would have to be replaced but this is rare,if you have a second port on tv try that.Have you tried your ROKU stick on another tv?Does your streaming stick go in vertically or horizontally,if it goes in vertically it may be pressing against side of tv prohibiting a good connection. You could try a HDMI cable, plug the HDMI cable into tv and put ROKU in other side of cable. There is also a restart button on ROKU stick push it and it will start blinking,if it doesn't light up you may have a defective ROKU stick.

How do I connect my new roku?

You could see something for sure.

Verify the input you have the Roku plugged into is the one you currently have selected on the TV.

If that doesn't work, plug use a paperclip to press the small "reset" button button the Roku.

You can also choose to perform a hard reset:

Hard reset

If a soft reset doesn't fix your problem, a hard reset may be your only option. This will clear all data off the Roku 2 and reset it to factory default settings.
1. Remove all cables except the Power cord.
2. Using a paper clip, press and hold the Reset button on the back of the device for about 15 seconds.
3. Continue to hold the Reset button, then remove the Power cord from the back of the unit.
4. Release the Reset button, then plug all of the cords back into the device.
The Roku 2 should walk you through the setup process again.
You can also accomplish a hard reset by selecting Settings > Factory reset > Factory reset > Yes on the device's menu.

Finally, try using a different HDMI cable.

Let me know if any of this helps.

How do i get my roku working on my t.v.

You have to use an HDMI cable if and plug it into one of the HDMI slots on your TV. Plug the Roku in and it will start up automatically. Make sure the TV is set to the HDMI. When it boots up you will have to sigh in with your Roku account and activate over the computer. After you activate it set up you WiFi and you should be good. Here's the site you use to create a Roku account http://www.roku.com/.

My roku streaming device is froze on this blue screen and will not change?

Glenda, Are you connected to your tv by HDMI or AV cables?
The blue screen is usually an indication of one of two things.
1: The HDMI cable has come loose but not entirely disconnected (Turn off Roku and TV unplug the HDMI cable from the Roku AND Tv and reconnect them making sure to seat the ends securely and turn on TV and Roku in that order)
2: your TV or receiver may not support HDCP (a content copy-protection solution) over HDMI. This is generally true for older TV models that have early HDMI implementations that do not follow current standards. Try connecting your player with the included A/V composite cable instead.

I am trying to hook up my philips hdtv to the roku. I attached the two via an HDMI cord and that works great. I just dont know how to plug in my speakers.... there is no where to attach it to the roku. So...

This tv has speakers, use those. If you want to use external ones connect them to the audio output RCA connectors at the rear of the Roku - the red and white ones.
