Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
Astoria sae 2n . the lights stay on. They do not flash. Nothing comes out of the heads but water did come out of spouts that are located directly behind panels. There seems to be one for each espresso head and they put directly into drain pan. The water spout in center dues nothing. Steam spickets steam to work but stay of with more water than anything before it seems to steam. If I press any of the buttons, nothing comes out at all. What could be the problem?
Has the machine been cleaned / descaled? Coffee machines become clogged with mineral scale deposits from the water. Some folks use citric acid , about two tablespoons /qt of water, and some folks use white vinegar, 1/2 & 1/2. Place the solution in the machine as if you were making coffee. It may take a few cleanings if there is a lot of deposits. After cleaning dissolve two tbsp of baking soda in a quart of water and run through machine to neutralize the acid.

I have the same problem as well, talked to a repair shop and it's definitely a "send in" or warranty repair. I was told it's an o-ring issue. I have no water coming out of the steam wand and it goes into the dispense tray instead.

The problem could be calcium built up blocking the jet and stopping the flow of water through your 3 way solenoid valve.
Otherwise the 3 way solenoid has stopped working. The 3 way valve part #91004 is $105 + shipping.
If you capable of removing the top and 3 body side of the machine, you can contact me and I can walk you through diagnosing if this is the problem with the jet or the valve. Before you call, make sure you have a philips screwdriver, 14 and 15mm open ended wrench or crescent wrench, flashlight, and paper clip.
