Why doesn't EJECT work?

there is a rubber band that opens and closes tray, it's located at front of player! You can get new ones on ebay or Amazon, or you can use the bands that kids make bracelets out of but they won't last long!

How to get DVD out of machine

You will need to open up both dvd case and dvd player! the rubber type band that turns the wheels to open tray is bad, not tight enough to turn wheels! This rubber type band is located at the front of tray. you might be able to get tray to open by taping the top front of player after you push eject, just not hard enough to bend case.

Door won't open to release video disc

The rubber belt that turns pulley to open door may need replaced. I had 4 dvd players do the same thing I bought the rubber bands that kids use to make wrist bracelets sense I couldn't find replacements. The rubber bands opens dvd tray just fine now its a cheap fix if that"s your problem. The the rubber belt is located at front of player inside on top where dvd tray comes out.

Tray will not come out

Let me ask you a few questions.

1. When you press eject do you hear the tray trying to come out?
2. Do you hear the motor

9 times out of ten the eject band slipped and you need to unplug the unit and go inside and check and see if the band borke or slipped if not then one of the pico fuses in your dvd player has given out, Thus it will need to be repaired.

Now cost of repair verses getting a new dvd:

your better of purchasing a new one if this is going ot require repair.

DVD door will not open

That is a problem with those units not all but still a problem, the fuse in the dvd recorder has failed unless you can repair surface mount components I suggest you take it to someone who can, the part that failed is marked with an N on the underside of the dvd recorder there are two of them so make sure which one is bad.
