1 Answer

I have a 5 burner induction Kuppersbusch (sorry model num not handy). On the single large burner on the left, last night while boiling water (was on 10) there was a loud bang and the unit quit worki

I get no LED at all by pushing on the buttons for that burner, nor does the little LED dot light up when I place a pan on it.

The other 4 burners still work and resetting the breaker did not help. Any idea what broke inside and where could I get a replacement part for it.

How do I fix an Electrolux induction range element that is not at full power?

Thank you for your post, friend!

I see that you are having difficulty with your induction range element on your Electrolux range. From the information you have provided it is taking longer for items to heat up on that burner. You may need to have that burner replaced and I would recommend having a professional technician come out to perform any repairs. This is not a simple DIY job it may require a possible disassembly of your range. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

I was boiling water for potatoes on the Electrolux induction cooktop last night. Only using one of the five burners when I heard a "pop" sound and possibly a flash of light. Error code we have is EO

Hi Gail, I am happy to assist you!

It appears the main control has detected a faulty or error condition. "E0" should be followed by two more digits to indicate which error has occurred. Let's try turning electrical power supply off. It is necessary to wait roughly ten minutes to reset cook-top main controls. If resetting the power does not correct the issue or provides a new error code, at this point, I would recommend having a service technician to diagnose the problem before investing in unnecessary parts.

One of the element does switch off.

The on switch to the burner sounds like its stuck open. See if you can shut it off at the switch or you will have to replace switch. If it stays on you risk fire so if you cant shut it off at the switch disconnect power to unit and call appliance technician for help.

If you have any further question please feel free to comment me back.

Generally there is a number after the F. It sounds like some liquid got into the electrical, sometimes if you wait about a week for it to dry it will work. If not, you would need to call a service tech

check that the hob is wired correctly underneath 1,2,3 should be linked together as live 4,5 as neutral and earth takes its place as earth,

if it is wired correctly then i m afraid the hob needs a new induction element it is all one complete unit on these hobs not seperate so your looking at £1000 + to fix it plus engineer call out charges
