SOURCE: Nokia 2310 suddenly stopped sending text message

If the SIM works fine in other phones, there is a phone issue. See if you're eligible for a warranty replacement (eligible if purchased new from AT&T within the last year or if purchased refurbished from AT&T within the last 90 days). If ineligible and you have insurance, use it... there will be a $50 deductible applied to your next bill. If ineligible and you haven't got insurance, get a replacement through somewhere like ebay or craigslist, upgrade (never EVER use wirefly or amazon, trust me) through AT&T preferably, or purchase a gophone (AT&T prepaid) from walmart, walgreens, wherever (If you go to RadioShack, they'll do everything for you). You just put your SIM in it and it will have your phone number and contract information... you don't have to sign up for prepaid service.

SOURCE: My pantech matrix cell phone says insert sim card

This problem arises sometimes because the mobile is unable to read the SIM. May be you should fold a small piece of paper in the same size of the SIM and keep it on top of the SIM and then insert the Battery. I think this will solve your problem.

Hi! The convenient way to recover deleted sms from LG phone is using backup, if you have backup, you can restore from them. However, if you don`t backup, you need to use program which is so called iPubsoft Android SMS+Contact Recovery to recover deleted files from LG on computer, you can know more from here: How to Restore LG Messages

Hi welcome to fixya.com .Please follow the instructions below Instructions
  1. Find the factory software that came with the phone. Connect a USB port from the phone to a computer. Use the software to restore the phone to its previous restore point. This way, you can view all text messages that were present before they were lost.
  2. Call your cell phone provider and ask the company to send a list of all text messages from the phone. Providers often can email the message to you or send it as a text to the phone.
  3. Ask a cell phone retailer if it has recovery software to trace deleted text messages. Some carriers have software that is not sold but may be used by customers who need data recovery services.
  4. Try a cell phone SIM card "spy." Use the SIM card from your phone with a USB SIM card reader to store information on your computer to prevent it from being lost.
Hope this solves your question. Please feel free to ask your questions on fixya. Have a nice day. Bye.

Whenever i try to send a text message, a box pops up saying " Network Service Unavailable" but i can still call people with no problem ??

Hi,the message that pops up saying "Network Service Unavailable" might be from the message settings not correctly set and it is unable to send messages.

You can go to the message setting options on the cell phone to confirm if it is rightly set.

To be sure, you can also use the sim card on another phone to confirm, by using the a friends phone to send a message.

If the message settings are correctly placed, the problem might be from the sim card. You willneed to contact Sim service center for help to rectify the problem for the Sim card..

Take care...

I had roughly a thousand text messages in my inbox I currently use a HTC desire hd cell phone and today I don't know how but all my messages just disappeared, I didn't do anything differently to maybe even...

Hello

To increase your chances of recovery TRY NOT TO SEND/ADD ANY MORE MESSAGES PHONE NUMBERS once you have realized you deleted a message or number.

If you wish to recover accidentally deleted text messages, contact numbers, call logs or other details from your mobile phones Sim Card then you are going to need to download a good Sim card data recovery program. That is How To Read Deleted Text Messages:

You will require USB sim card reader (any PC/SC Standards or Phoenix Standards based USB Sim Reader) to use the software and successfully recover data (contact numbers and text SMS) from the Sim card of your mobile phone

To use the software you simply connect your USB Card to the computer load up Sim card data recovery and it will allow you to view information including contacts numbers, and deleted SMS text messages along with the date and sending time of the message in simple report format.

I have A corby pro..I never get reply on time and then i get all the messages 3 or 4 hours late..and it sometimes sends the same message several times..how do i get rid of this problem..?

This problem is generally seen when messages get stored on the sim card. generally sim cards have space for 20-30 msgs before phone memory gets occupied. I would recommend you to keep your sim card memory full always (as in keep some msgs permanently on the sim without deleting). To check memory usage, go to main menu-> messages -> memory status-> text messages (from top right drop down). The second row shows sim card memory status

My pantech slate isn't allowing me to send texts, It says text message full but everytihng is empty How to i get it to work??

First make sure your outbox for txt messages has been cleared.

There's 2 different places SMS messages are stored. When they get to your phone, they come in through the SIM card. Then the phone reads it off the SIM card. Some phones delete the messages off the SIM card after the phone reads them, some leave them on the SIM card.

Look around in the options for SMS messaging on your phone for something related to this.

Can't receive an picture message an i can't send a text message

You'll have to call your service provider. The SIM card stores a phone number for the network's text message center. For some reason, this phone has a glitch where it deletes the center number. Your service provider might be able to update it remotely but I had to take the SIM out and place it in an older phone so I could enter the text message center number manually. This fixed the problem.

Hope this helps
