You need to request for the network unlock code from the carrier whom you have purchased the handset from ......
if you have the network unlock code follow the steps mentioned below to unlock the device
menu--> options--> advance options--> sim--> Press MEPD--> Press MEP2--> The device will ask for the network unlock code and press on Ok..
