There is a special socket set made for stripped nuts and bolts. Sears sells it. There are about five sockets in the kit, each covers a couple different sized stripped nuts/bolts. The socket is spiraled inside and tightens onto the stripped head as you turn it counterclockwise to remove..... DW

The F03 code is a problem with your water system. your inlet valves may have failed.

Open up the bottom panel and you will find a tech sheet that explain the codes and gives trouble shooting techniques. here is the service manual, good luck, hope this helps......

Unit starts, fills, you can hear a whirring noise when motor tries to rotate drum

IF you are lucky, the spline of the motor rotor has stripped out. It is an easy repair (about a 2 on a 1-10 difficulty scale), and the part carries a 5 year warranty (minimum, up to 10 years on newer models) Remove back cover, unscrew bolt at center of motor, pull rotor off. If spline is stripped from rotor, replace rotor and you're done. IF SPLINE IS NOT STRIPPED ....... Oh s***! The drive shaft has broken loose from the three arms which attach it to the drum. (the part is called the "spider") To repair, remove bolt on end of shaft at center of motor. You may have to cut it with an angle grinder, but don't worry about that, because the shaft has to be replaced anyway. Remove motor rotor and stator. Remove washer front, drain hose, fill hose, shock absorbers, support springs, all wires attached to outer drum, and eventually the entire outer drum. Remove bolts between front and back halves of outer tub to allow removal of inner drum. Remove 6 bolts holding 3 arms of spider to back of inner drum. Re-assemble with new spider and new bolt for end of shaft. If you can do it in under two hours, give yourself a big pat on the back. This is about a 9.5 on a 1 - 10 difficulty scale for repairs on this washer.

The washer clicks but does not tumble load in either direction... does empty out the water at the end but clothes have not been washed!

The motor coupler is broken. It's the part on the end of the motor shaft whcih connects the motor to the transmission. The clilcking is the broken motor coupler pieces colliding with each other. More info, please let me know.

Rear dampeners through bolts are stripped

The threads or the head off the bolt? none the less, try to find a way to cut the bolt but if the head is stripped you can weld a nut and ratchet it out (works for when the bolt itself snaps) maybe a combo off cutting off the end and putting a new nut and weld it to shaft to get it out

My Frigidaire front load stacked washer/dryer makes a horrible noise and won't spin. It works perfectly except for the spin cycle

you need to remove the agitator take the cap off and remove the bolt from inside the agitator and then remove it look at the metal trunion in the bottom of the tub and see if there is a broken bolt holding the trunion to the shaft.there is a chance the transmission need to be replace if there is no broken bolt

Frigidaire front-load washer making LOUD banging noise on spin cycle. Support brace under washer tub is detached.

Does the loose brace end look broken or like a bolt fell out of it. If it has the missing bolt appearance, look for parts on the floor of the machine. Look for where it was attached and re-bolt the part. If it was welded, it will require the same to fix the problem. Not a usual DIY fix.

Maytag Washer leaking from front

If I remember correctly, you need to remove the drum to get at the bolt that you are talking about. There is a rubber washer that provides the seal. The locking collar on the hub is Left hand thread. If you work at it you can get it loose.

My frigidare glws1233a top load

Do you have this noise when operating an empty machine ? It could be cause an unbalanced load of clothes. Stop the machine, redistribute the clothes and re-start the machine. In case you still have this noise, the problem is with the transmition between the drive motor and the inner tub. Good luck !
