Question about Delta R18000-XO Jetted ShowerTM Rough-In Valve with extra Outlet 6-

1 Answer

Why is our R18000-XO DIVERTER NOT WORKING

We had a plumber install the Jet Rough in Valve however when the diverter trim was put on... moving the knob doesn't change anything. Water flows from everything... all the time. There is not enough water pressure to support everything which is why the diverter is needed.

I HAVE WORCESTER 24SI BOILER , THE HEATING IS WORKING BUT NO HOT WATER THANKS.

Hi Mustafa, you are going to need a Gas Engineer to fix this one. It could either be the Hot water sensor or the flow switch that activates the water to come on. Good Luck.

My Alpha 240E boiler does not heat water from the taps unless the radiators are on. I have been told this is because my boiler needs a new convertor valve, can I purchase a convertor valve and how wou

Its a diverter valve thats required not a converter as you state,it is not recomended to do it yourself ,you can get the valve easily from a reputable plumbers merchant ,alpha is a popular boiler, just supply the gas control no or boiler details to the merchant and the should be able to get the right divertor valve, then you just have to find a good plumber to fit it , it would be quicker and safer for some one qualified to change this.

My contractor installed a 4 port diverter. The hot and cold are ok, but when I turn the shower on, the flow starts in the hand held shower head and not the main shower head. According to Grohe, whichever...

I haven't had a lot of experience with Grohe brand but have had twenty eight years as plumber, 22 years as master plumber and the bottom port of every tub or tub/shower valve that I installed used the bottom as main supply port. As far as the instructions from manufacture like I said I have not used that particular brand much,so I really couldn't say. Hope this helps some. Thanks

Install trim and adjust the thermostat on a Grohe shower faucet

Before you install the temperature control knob, adjust the valve body (47111) with a wrench to set the temperature to "100 degree or close to it". Now, place the limit ring to tdc (top dead center) and control knob with the red 100-degree align to it. Your problem may have been the valve's temperature setting is out range when you installing the temperature control knob.
