1) Run a check on your windows files
Hold down the 'windows key' (bottom row with flag) and press the 'R' key together.
type or paste in sfc /scannow
Allow the scan to run and make any repairs
2) If you still have problems download some free software that may help
Download and open the Total Care software. Select 'Check for security holes' and press 'Scan'
Allow the scan to run - this will look for any outstanding updates.
If missing updates are found click on 'Repair'

hi try instaling this codec pack
and if problem still arises uninstall windows media player and reinstall it
hears a link for windows media player download
