It sounds like you need the tune up kit. I got mine at Seattle Coffee Gear. http://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/seattle-coffee-gear-tune-up-kit-for-saeco-via-venezia. It was really easy to unscrew and replace the parts. Good luck

Sounds to me, that the Pump is not working!

Also have you checked if the temp of the water changes, as in have you seen the water prepare to boil, in the Water Unit that hold the water ?

It also sounds like it could be the thermostat. and it may needs changing?

So what you best doing is look for those signs like I just said.

And if non of it works then you have problem with Pump/ thermostat .

If I understood right, he has boiling water, it is leaking out of the head. When this happens, it means the retaining. Spring for the white busing has worn and the spring and bushing need replacing.

SOURCE: Water won't come through

If the pump vibrates when trying to draw water then that is a good sign. Remo;ve the hose on the output side of the pump and turn it on to see if it draws water(BE Careful water and electricity love each other too much), it water flows out the output side, reconnect to boiler and test. If that did not solve the no draw problem then the machine is blocked either at the boiler.

The ready button does not come on. No water comes

Check the thermostats on top of the boiler for the ready light, or the light itself.
For the coffee, check the screen under the head, remove it and make sure it is clean, if yes then remove the 2 allen wrench screws and check the valve and spring make sure it is not blocked.

My machine seems to heat up, it runs like it is drawing water into the boiler and it will froth but it does not brew espresso now. What could be the problem?

Hi
If water comes out the head with out the portifilter in then its you portafilter or your grinds are too fine. If its not coming out the head then your pipe in the brew head are plugged with scale.

My Saeco via venezia isn't sucking up water for the espresso anymore, how to fix the problem? it isn't even a year old

The only thing that comes to mind is the pump, and an airlock in the hydralic system, try opening the hot water valve it water comes through then the shower screen on the group might be clogged.

Doesn't pressurize in order to steam

Can you get hot water and hot coffee from the machine? If yes, then check the thermostats on the boiler, it is possible that the one for the steam could be damaged. Check the schematic below I know its a gaggia model but its close.ac19505.jpg

Water won't come out like its blocked

Water won't come out when you brew coffee or use the steam wand?
If its when you are using the steam/hot water valve the parnello might be clogged.
If it is when you are using the brew head, then try backwashing the machine with espresso machine cleaner(Purocaff or Cleancaff).
The pump could also be blocked, or the spring in the pump might be damaged, open machine and check pump.

Water won't come through my Saeco via venezia coffee machine. It was working fine until I cleaned it so I don't think the pump has gone.
