Is it all websites or just some. Sometime this isn't a client based issue, but a problem with the requested web server. If its just a few, and they aren't mainstream sites, its doubtful the issue is with your workstation. If its more, install a second browser and determine if its still occurring. From there, its either one of two things.

1. Network - reset the router and unplug your modem for 10-15 seconds. From there test again, if no change then its client side.

2. Find an on-demand AV and install it. MSE is good and generally does a good job of finding the issue. If no results, download spybot, its likely that a piece of spyware is trying to redirect you to another site and is broken. Hence the connection resets.

It seems more like a browser issue. Did you try another browser or jus Internet Explorer (IE). Another easy fix would be to turn off your pc, then turn off router and/or modem.
At this point, if your connection is "wired", please disconnect the ethernet cable from the back of the computer. If you use a wireless connection to connect to the internet disregard this step. Reconnect everything and turn power on for router/modem, then turn on your pc. Try again to load a page after that. Regards.

Help me find a suitable antivirus program for my accer laptop

I would recommend Avast anti virus software ( www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download ). It is free and is considered to be the most reliable one out there. I have used it for years. It is continually listed as the best by most tech reviewers. It is light on your computer's CPU and RAM and it automatically updates with new anti virus definitions about once per day (when you are connected to the internet).

It will also automatically halt a web page from loading if it detects anything fishy or malicious (which has saved me many times).

Re: dell inspiron 1525 laptop shutdown.

There is a good possibility that you have some nasty malware or viruses. I will give you links below to programs that will clear out the problems....

At the end of this are three links to programs that you should load up and run. The first is MalwareBytes Ant-Malware Tool, another is Avast Anti-Virus 4.8, the third is Threatfire.
Run MalwareBytes first and perform a quick scan, when it finishes, it will ask you to show the results, click on “Show results, all infections will appear in red. Delete everything it finds.
Run Avast and install it, when it asks, go ahead and schedule a pre-boot scan of your entire system. This should get rid of most problems….Now, if you have Norton Anti-Virus, internet security or any of the others, they also be causing some of your problems. They will have to be removed and the only way to properly do that is go to the Norton site and download their Norton removal tool. Run this before installing any other kind of ant-virus. The Avast 4.8 is free to use, just register it once a year, that is all…it will update itself 2-4 times a day to keep its virus definitions constantly updated, you do not have to do anything, it is completely automated and has 7 real time scanners that run all the time.

When your boot time scan is over and you have either deleted or moved the infection to the chest as Avast recommends, now run Threatfire…it will ask you to let it update as will Malwarebytes, do so. Threatfire monitors every web page on the world wide web and lets you know if your tap dancing where you shouldn’t, it will throw a flag up and say abort connection…do so to save yourself from a bad situation.
