It seems more like a browser issue. Did you try another browser or jus Internet Explorer (IE). Another easy fix would be to turn off your pc, then turn off router and/or modem.
At this point, if your connection is "wired", please disconnect the ethernet cable from the back of the computer. If you use a wireless connection to connect to the internet disregard this step. Reconnect everything and turn power on for router/modem, then turn on your pc. Try again to load a page after that. Regards.

How can i download a free home pc without internet access anti virus software

Go here  http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download  and download - as in Save, not Run - the installer. Move that installer on a USB stick. Put that stick in the pc without internet access and launch it.
To update it go here http://www.avast.com/download-update  at least once a week and again download /Save the update installer, move it and launch it.

My acer 3680 aspire is very slow on the internet

I am not sure what internet connection you are using but try disabling automatic updates in windows, this usually hogs the bandwidth. Also try using a different antivirus program (I use Avast Home Edition http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html :: pretty good and fast, free antivirus system :: Make sure you remove any previous antivirus software first)

Alternatively you can update your software and drivers from here;

ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_3680/

Thanks

My Mcafee anti-virus is about to finish, how do I install Advast free,do I download advast then uninstall/delete Mcafee then install advast free with Reg key. Thanx in advance !!!

Multiple anti-virus programs on a computer conflict with each other, as well as installation may fail when trying to install one Anti-virus program when another one is still on the computer.

Download Avast
Disable your internet connection, or unplug the ethernet cable
Uninstall McAfee
Install Avast
Hook your internet back up
Use your reg key and update Avast.

You just don't want an unsecured computer with an active internet connection even during the short period of time between uninstalling the old one and installing the new one

When I get into internet or watching a movie my PC stops working and the screen goes bad also Icons disappear so I have to restart the PC.. I changed Display Card and Foramts the Pc alot but not work

try viewing a movie without any internet connection. if you can view movie without internet connection, i suspect that your computer is infected with a virus. install an antivirus to fix the problem. i suggest avast home its free. and after it is installed have it fully scanned and dont interrupt it while scanning to kill all viruses.

My laptop would not connect to wireless while I was away in a hotel

Open up you're network connections in you're notebook & run the wireless wizard. Search for you're home wireless network.
You should be able to connect to you're home. Remove any other networks you might find. While you're at it I suggest you setup security for you're home network with a password.

Let me know how it goes.
