I have a freightliner argosy with detroit series 60 and smartshift. Tonight the gearbox would only change up and down in the numbered gears and came up with fault code TRANS NoRESP and some numbers. Just wondering if anyone can help me??

A sign of oil in the rad coolant is a sign of head gasket problems

the code dd13 for a detroit series 60 refers to coolant level sensor ---input voltage low
should be in the radiator top tank and energizers when the coolant level in the cooling system falls below a set point in the radiator
contact a service dealer for a diagnosis and information as to the fix.

code 54 (DDC#( flashed ) refers to vehicle speed sensor fault
code 55 (DDC# flashed)refers to other ECU fault ( this fault is logged in conjunction with another fault to indicate missing information from another ECU. it also refers to J1939 data link fault

these are specific detroit / freight liner codes
take it to a service dealer as the downtime costs will be more than fixing the fault quickly

I would suggest that it is taken to a freight liner service shop but I suggest that the code reading would indicate a fault in the wiring to the gear box. Possibly a fuse or a failed connection in the wiring or a faulty module for the gear box.
