Question about AOL Computers & Internet
I don't see where you would plug a mouse in on the Chromebook. Can you use a mouse. My hands are very steady just using the pad
Which specific Chromebook do you have? The Samsung Chromebook has USB ports on the back of the unit (below the hinge for the screen). The Acer C720 Chromebook has one USB port on each side. Most basic mice should work. (Some gaming mice and mice with unifying adapters might have issues.) Some report needing to disconnect and reconnect the mouse after turning on the Chromebook to get it to work. Other models can connect to a bluetooth mouse, like this: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Cordless-Optical-Bluetooth-Charcoal/dp/B000BDH2Y8 . Enable Bluetooth and then synch the mouse using the PIN provided in the documentation.
Please note: adding these external devices may reduce the length of time that you can use the Chromebook before recharging the battery.
I hope this helps.
