Resolve by turning off by power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn back on and wait for it to initialize. perform a hard reset on it. turn it off. press and hold down cancel and start copy buttons at the same time while powering on printer. continue to hold down until the control panel display reads PERMANENT STORAGE UNIT. RELEASE BUTTONS. printer should return to ready automatically
