SOURCE: Ice Maker
Charles, these models have a habit of the inlet tube freezing over. Make sure the black tube feeding the trough is clear. You may want to disconnect it from the back and see if you can blow through it. I use hot water in a baster to clear them all the time. Another thing is to check the optics. When opening the freezer door the red optic light on the right should flash 2x with a pause repeatedly. When you close the left hand emitter flapper the light should stay on. If it does this your optics are good. Because of these optics the new ice-maker has to be jumped started into a cycle. Once started you can monitor the fill. Catriver..post back.

Krakus, there is no fuse in the dispenser assy., but there are two switches mounted on the control bracket. The posts on the brackets that hold the switches are really thin and it's possible that it broke. Therefore when you are pressing the lever you are not making the switch and sending the juice to the auger motor. Remove the dispenser cover by inserting a flat blade screw driver in the slots at the bottom. Pry out gently and the cover should pop off. Then slide it up and off. Now you will be looking at the control bracket and see the switches on the left and right side. See if the switch holder is broken. If this is the case your part number is 2183771. Not a hard job, just have to take your time. Im assuming that when you tested the auger motor you verified that the drive coupler was not broke. Catriver..post back

SOURCE: Ice is not ejecting
Sounds like the icemaker thermostat is opening too soon which turns the heater off. The easiest thing to do is replace the whole ice maker which I have seen pretty cheap on ebay. If you want you can test these part with an ohm meter. Check the heater for resistance. If it is ok then replace the module and thermostat.

I looked at the plastic piece the solenoid was moving (from Guest's comment 03/07/08). Pushed the plastic piece up (had to push pretty hard) and it reset the solenoid to its' start/beginning position(-?) Plastic piece came back to lower position - was free to move up and down. The solenoid is working now (hear the loud clicking and see it pulling the plastic piece up) to get cubed ice, instead of putting it thru the crusher.
