Question about V, Inc. Vizio L13 LCD Television
I don't know what channel the tv should be on, and have tried going through the menu. I've also tried using a universal remote. The tv was given to me and I don't have a user's manual.

I work as a contract technician for Vizio, and I can tell you from experience that replacing motherboard is one of the only solutions to this problem. The other solution if under warranty is to replace it. If you experience red, blue, or green pixels where dark shades (like nose, eyes, clothes, etc), call Vizio and accept nothing less than a full replacement! I have had situations where I replaced motherboard and within 2-3 hours the pixels return. Hope this helps.
