Hello Jim,
the device has a special mode for downloading the project. You would need to go to the menu on the P360, activate the mode and put it to the cradle.
You can also scan a special barcode Load New MCL-Designer Application to activate the mode, please find it at the page 1-4 at http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=3769004apdf Please make sure that your program in the MCL project is not larger then 4K. MCL has a limit of 4K for any program in a project including the main program.
Hello,
I have resolved my problem by using a firmware updater specific for YP-Z5
You can download it here: http://dump.ru/file/540116/ it is called MCL.rar
After that :
1_install the firmware updater
2_hold the center button while connecting your player , in order to put-it in recovery mode
3_wait for the program recognizing the player and updating it
for me , my player was totaly bricked and now it works very nice
The reason a sad face appears is because the hard drive is not being read for what ever reason. Unfortunatly 90% or so need the hard drive replaced. Try these first, with the face down, try to start up the ipod while tapping on the back. A hard drive is designed exatly like an record player and sometimes the arm gets stuck. Also a soft reset (Menu and Middle button at the same time for about five seconds) can often jiggle the arm free. I have also seen low battery's cause sad faces but you would need a wall charger to test this and you would have seen signs of a low battery. Hope this helps.
This means that your unit is defective and is no longer working. The hard drive is bad.
I have bought 3 of these players. All of them worked for a while then had the eventual face/bug on the screen after turning the unit on. When the customer service number DID work, they said that the unit was defective and to return it to the store and get another.
This happened to me, like I mentioned, with 3 different units.
hmmm if you bought the alpine deck originally your best bet might be to call them, and see about getting it properly repaired. otherwise, check craigslist or ebay for broken alpine decks with the tilt function. should be pretty easy to fix. also you could open up the cd player and check to see if maybe something just slipped off.
