Question about Elna Sewing Machines
Posted by Anonymous on
Look for any red spots marked under where the bobbin sits, there is usually an oiling wick or red mark where a drop of oil should be placed regularly. If you could give more info on your model I could be more specific. But in general terms, look for red oiling marks. Always use good quality clear sewing machine oil, not general household oil like 3-in-1. I love Triflow oil if you can find it, bike shops sometimes will stock it, or try Ebay. It contains teflon so doesnt dry out on a machine's metal bits when left unused for long periods.
